It is recommended that 2500 calories in a day should be consumed by men and women should have 2000 calories. Usually, we consume more calories than what our bodies need.

 Children who do not eat properly demonstrate growth related problems. They also show poor academic performance. In fact 4 out of 10 people die due to problems in their diet. Poor dietary habits lead to diseases like certain cancers, stroke, hypertension, heart disease and diabetes.

  • Drink lot of water

  • Quit smoking and drinking
  • Do not skip breakfast
  • Consume less salt and sugar
  • Minimize saturated fat in your diet  
  • Avoid packaged foods as well as drinks

  • Include raw green leafy vegetables in your meals
  • Starchy carbohydrates should be 1/3 of what you eat
  • Include wholegrain as they contain lot of fiber in your diet

Besides food and exercise the last thing which you should pay attention to is how you dress. Dress neatly and as per your body frame. For example, if you are plump, do not wear too tight clothes’ as this will overemphasize your flaws. Opt for right kind of clothing as this will make you look smart and active. This will boost you confidence and you will enjoy your life even more.
